My Process
This poster design was a project with the purpose of utilizing basic design principles to create an interesting composition. I decided to design with these principles in mind: Depth, Emphasis, and Value.
Using this expansive gradient of purple, I was able to add depth by creating variations in the value and perspective, and emulated emphasis by taking the purple gradient all the way to a fully desaturated value. The middle, located on the top right third, pops off the screen with its mesmerizing border of all values of purple
