My Process

This 3D model is based off a few different retro speaker references. The retro design elements like the dial and the electrical cylinders extruding from the top are accentuated by the simple wooden material. The shiny gold that makes up the grill and the outline shine in contrast to the muted brown tones of the wood This design seeks to seamlessly blend extravagant retro elements with subtle minimalist modern design principles.
